Yellow woven stripes on long sides, embroidered kitten playing with a ball of yarn on one short end
Sweet and very useful kitchen towel made from cream colored linen with multiple yellow lines running alone long edge(woven in). This linen towel is embroidered on one end with an kitten playing with a ball of yarn (bad girl)
Design: one short end is a 4x4" motif of an embroidered kitten with a ball of yarn against a blue cross stitched square. Long sides are salvage. Short sides are machine stitched.
Fiber: unmarked, linen (cool with slubs under magnification) with cotton embroidery threads
Special features: love the kitty with the yarn.
Color: light cream towel with yellow woven stripes, and pastel colors of embroidery
Age: Probably 1940s or 1950s
Condition: very good for its age. No rips, tears or damage. Does not look like the maker allowed anyone to use this one! Crisp as the day it was stitched. Clean too.
