This policy will provide you with information about shipping services or carriers, shipping cost, shipping insurance and other useful shipping information. Shipping cost, fees, postage, handling charges, etc. is charges that are through a third-party shipping services or carrier. Do to the fact that shipping goes through a third-party service or carrier GDWstore or our affiliates have no control over their prices. The third-party shipping service or carrier set their own prices for shipping packages, which is, based on size, weight, and destination of the package. In addition, which shipping service or carrier that is used, will also affect the price for shipping packages. When GDWstore and our affiliates are shipping merchandise out, we will contact the shipping service or carrier with the lowest shipping rate for the merchandise that the customer has purchase. When returning merchandise, the shipping cost is the customer responsibility and not GDWstore or our affiliates. (There are some exceptions, see below) We are not responsible for any shipment delays. We will not accept C.O.D.’s on returned shipments. The shipping times and shipping rates provided below are Only Estimates. GDWstore or our affiliates will not take responsibility for returning merchandise until the shipping service or carrier has delivered the merchandise to GDWstore’s location or our affiliate’s location. Please note that not all of our products can be ship through USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL the heavier merchandise (100lbs. or over in most case) will be shipped through an Oversized Shippers, Freightliners, or Trucking Service’s. Whichever shipping methods is used, the shipping service or carrier will require the following information; customer’s full name and address, phone number with area code, correct destination address, and email address.
Tracking Information and Numbers
Sometime multiple shipping service or carriers are used. In cases, where multiple shipping service or carriers are used to ship the merchandise to its destination, there may not be a tracking numbers or tracking information to give to customer. However, if this information is being provide they will need the customer’s full name, phone number with area code, correct destination address, and email address so the shipment will be completed within the desired timeline. Not providing the correct information or providing false information may result in incompletion of the deliver. Any shipment returned to GDWstore or our affiliates, the customer will pay for any additional cost that was needed for the returned shipment. Most of the time most of the shipping services or carrier will try to contact the customer by phone or email to try to setup a delivery time, or inform the customer of a delivery, or inform the customer of a missed delivery, and/or other information that maybe needed to complete the deliver. There are no guarantees that these shipping services or carriers will contact the customer before the delivery.
When GDWstore or our affiliates are shipping merchandise out there will be shipping insurance on the merchandise in case the merchandise is lost, damage, stolen, or broken in transit from GDWstore’s location or our affiliate’s locations. This is so we will not take a loss for the merchandise that was lost, damage, stolen, or broken in transit. If the merchandise is lost, damage, stolen, or broken in transit from GDWstore or our affiliates, to the customer’s location, it is GDWstore or our affiliate’s reasonability to file a claim with the shipping service or carrier to recover the lost, damage, stolen or broken merchandise’s value, and the shipping cost. If the customer is returning merchandise, then the customer should buy shipping insurance when returning the merchandise. Then if the merchandise is lost, damage, stolen, or broken in transit the customer will be reimbursed for the lost, damage, stolen or broken merchandise’s value, and the shipping cast by the shipping services or carrier’s insurance policy. GDWstore, or our affiliates will not approve or issue a refund, exchange, or replacement until we have received the merchandise at GDWstore’s location or our affiliate’s location in the same condition it was sent. GDWstore or our affiliates will not take reasonability of the merchandise until the shipping service or carrier has delivered the merchandise to GDWstore’s location or our affiliate’s location. Most shipping service or carrier automatable have the minimum amount of shipping insurance on package, which is about $100.00, check with the shipper to see if it is enough to cover the value of the package’s content, if not then the customer will need to buy more insurant to cover the value of the package’s content.
Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories and APO/FPO
To ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories and Army/Air Post Office (APO) or Fleet Post Office (FPO) the addresses must have a U.S. ZIP CODE. There will be additional shipping charges that will apply to these locations and delivery time will take longer to these locations. The US Territories are Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam Islands, Mariana Islands, and the Canal Zone. Delivery times vary, especially to military addresses, which can take up to thirty days for delivery, however normally the delivery time is from 5-14 business days. The shipping cost for these locations will be calculated on case-by-cases bases using GDWstore’s location or our affiliate’s location, zip code. Please note that not all of our products can be shipped though USPS, UPS, FedEx or DHL. We do not ship to P.O. boxes in the lower 48 states. However, we do ship to central locations P.O. boxes for Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, and to APO/FPO addresses. Any extensions that were mention in this policy will apply to these locations as well. There may be other shipping options and delivery time provided at the time of checkout, or the customer can request a special delivery services and/or deliver times by using the “Add a note to your order” at the bottom of the checkout page.
Ground shipping will be used by default unless the customer requests another form of shipping for their merchandise. These shipping service or carriers (USPS UPS, FedEx, and DHL) also use ground shipping by default. If another form of shipping is preferred, it must be stated on the checkout page in the comment box at the bottom of the page where it says, “Add a note to your order” to make a request on which services the customer prefers. If there is no note, add to the comment box (about shipping) then it will be shipped by default ground shipment. We reserve the right to ship the order by the most cost effective method when choosing ground shipping. Remember: UPS, FedEx, or DHL do not ship to PO Boxes in the lower 48 states. Choose USPS (if available) if you must ship to a PO Box or us a friends mailing address or a family member mailing address.
Free shipping only applies to ground shipping or flat rate, any other form of shipping will have an extra shipping change above the default ground-shipping rate. Some merchandise is marked with “Free Shipping” in GDWstore and/or our sub-stores. Any merchandise that is marked with “Free Shipping” the customer will not be charged for shipping anywhere in the lower 48 states. Free shipping does not apply to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. Territories. If the customer is returning the merchandise for a replacement of the same product then the customer will not pay the returning shipping cost to return the merchandise back to GDWstore or our affiliates and the new replacement will be shipped to the customer at no charge. (This is a onetime, on the first round shipping) If the merchandise is being exchange for a different product that also has free shipping then the customer will not pay the shipping charges. (This is a onetime, on the first round shipping) If the customer is returning the merchandise for a diffident product that does not have free shipping then the customer will be charge a shipping rate. Free shipping is applied to the product not that page, not the category, and not for all of the merchandise in GDWstore’s stores. Any other form of shipping, the merchandise, to the customer will incur an additional shipping charge. (Read, “Expedited or Speedy Delivery” below) The customer is responsible for any extra shipping cost when sending or returning merchandise, when the customer wants to use Speedy Delivery services or Expedited service.
On many small items, GDWstore or our affiliates may use the flat rate shipping service option for shipments to anywhere in the lower 48 states. The four shipping carriers mentioned in this police all have some kind of a special package rate shipping service or option like USPS flat rate boxes. The flat rate only applies to outbound merchandise from GDWstore or our affiliates not for returns from the customer back to GDWstore or our affiliates. If the customer wants to return merchandise and wants to pay the special package rate shipping charge, this is the customer choose. This special package rate applies only to ground shipping. If the customer chooses to use Expedited or Speedy Delivery, read the section about “Expedited or Speedy Delivery,” special package rate do not apply in this cases. Please note that special package rate shipping cannot be used when shipping to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, or US Territories.
Expedited or Speedy Delivery
When choosing to use Expedited or Speedy Delivery option like (Next Day, 2nd Day, or 3 Day) from any of the four shipping services or carriers mentioned in this Policy, check with these shipping services or carriers to see if they deliver to the destination address. (Not all of these shippers cover the whole U.S.) Merchandise that is stated “Free Shipping” on the description page of that product; the free shipping only applies to ground shipments not air, overseas, expedited, or speedy delivery. If the customer prefers a different shipping method, than the ground free shipping option, then the free shipping amount will be subtracted from the total amount of the Expedited or Speedy Delivery service total rate cost. (Example: if the ground-shipping rate is $25.00 and the Expedited or Speedy Delivery rate is $50.00 then the customer will pay the extra $25.00. This example only applies to free shipping) For Expedited or Speedy Delivery all order most be in by 3 p.m. in the time zone of the customer’s location for Next Day, 2 Days, or 3 Day delivery options to apply. There is no deliveries on Saturdays, Sundays, or major holidays for some of the four carriers mentioned in this Policy. Check with the carrier first before using these services. Keep this in mind, before paying the extra charge for “Next Day, 2nd Day, or 3 Day” deliver service, any orders placed on Friday, Saturday or Sundays or over a major holiday may take longer than the desirable timeline. (Example: an order is placed on Friday at 3:01p.m. for overnight delivery; however, the carrier does not deliver on weekends you will not get the package overnight) GDWstore or our affiliates are not responsible for delivery delays caused by the shipping service or carriers. Actual delivery times are subject to changes at any time by the third-party service or carriers without any notice.
Oversized/ Overweight Shipments
Certain products require special handling, like oversized or items that weigh more than what the four carriers are willing to handle. Oversize heavier merchandise will be shipped through an Oversized Shippers, Freightliners, or Trucking Service. Which service or carrier that will be used is unknown until the time the merchandise is ready to be shipped. Then the information will be given to the customer by email. (If possible) The rate for these types of carriers will be higher and deliver time will take longer. The cost of shipping the merchandise, which carriers are used, will be determined at the time the package is ready for shipment. With the Oversized Shippers, Freightliners, or Trucking services, may only provide service to part of the nation, therefore more the one carrier maybe use to ship the customer’s merchandise. In the case where more than one shipping service or carries is used, tracking information may not be available. The Oversized Shippers, Freightliners, or Trucking Service’s do not ship to P.O. boxes in the lower 48 states. However, they will deliver to central location in Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, and to APO/FPO addresses. The customer will not be reimbursed for any shipping cost, which is needed to ship the merchandise to the customer or back to GDWstore or our affiliates.
If the customer refused to accept the merchandise that the customer order, the customer will be charged a 20% handling fee for not accepting the package plus any returning shipping charges or fees, even if it was free shipping. In addition, shipping charges are not refundable on refused orders or any orders. Packages returned to GDWstore or our affiliates by the carrier for insufficient address, incorrect address, and inability to deliver, or for any other undeliverable reason that is not the fault of GDWstore or our affiliates, or the shipping service or carrier, the customer will be charge a handling fee, a restock fee and any shipping charges. Shipping charges are not refundable on orders returned by the shipping service or carrier requesting collect on delivery. (C O D’s) The customer will be charge for all shipping cost to and from GDWstore’s location or our affiliate’s locations. If undeliverable merchandise is returned and there is no contact from the customer or there is a request from the customer for a refund without accepting the merchandise there will be a 20% to30% restocking fee along with the 20% handling fee, plus any shipping charges, fees, or other charges that was needed for transporting the undeliverable merchandise.
