Due to popular demand, what started as just a Crafts Marketplace expanded to include all
categories of merchandise in the later part of 2008. In late November of 2008 we began a marketing campaign to help expand
Webstore's reach and bring more buyers.
We are happy to announce that due to these
marketing efforts, in just a few short months, membership increased by 200% and our overall listings increased by 500%.
In order to maintain site performance and improve
the safety of our member's data with this exponential growth, we have also
recently upgraded our servers. Webstore is running on two identically
configured servers (the main server and a full functioning mirror). Each
server's data is stored on individual RAID-5
systems, and the main server is constantly being backed up to the mirror.
What this means to you, our members and visitors,
is that all the hard work our sellers put into these listings is protected and items
will be available 24/7 for buyers to find, bid, and buy.
