Item Description

Beautiful c1900 Heavy Rolled Gold hinged bracelet with Roses ornamentation. Rolled gold dates back to before the Georgian era according to the internet and is much preferred over "electroplating" because the process uses a thin sheet of actual gold to bond to a base metal. It wears much like gold and has the actual look of gold. This piece is in beautiful condition and may date to before the inscription to Hettie in 1906. Hopefully someone in the Killian family will recognize these names and return this heirloom to the descendants of these individuals. A great surprise gift for someone? If you know any Killians please let them know this item has been found (in Colorado) and posted here. Thank you for looking.

Oval. Dia 2 3/8 x 2 3/4"
Nice heavy feel to hollow tube construction, wt 16g on postage scale
No dents, side hinged design, snap closure, beautiful gold luster looks 14K or better
Decorated with roses on top
unmarked by maker

This family heirloom has been inscribed 3 times and may have passed from one name to the other
Inscribed;
E. M. Killian (inside band)
then
Hettie Sept 14, 1906 (inside band)
