Perma M-3071 Calypso Clipper VG
Chronicle Of The Calypso, Clipper
By John Jennings
Cover by Clark Hulings
June, 1856. The clipper Calypso sailed from New York carrying a strange cargo.
The cargo was - women! The Calypso had been chartered by the notorious Mother Mag Maher, who was moving all the residents of her cathouse to San Francisco, where men were lonely and gold was plentiful.
The crew had orders from Captain Tucker to keep their hands off, but some of the women, unable to live without men, displayed themselves before leering, hungry eyes.
If your first thought is that this trip will NOT end well, you are not mistaken!
First paperback printing,1956. A clean, shiny, UNREAD copy with light edge wear. Some small white spots on the right edge appear to be ink that is not rubbed off, but just plain missing! Spine is nubbed at three corners, otherwise excellent. Pages are off-white.
