Something was gravely wrong on Sequoia, the planet of trees, peoples by furred Lemmits with large golden eyes. The male and female Lemmits abhorred one another and would acknowledge each other's existence only at the annual Mothering; the rest of the year they were deadly antagonists.
Miss Kearney Wynn of Earth, investigating this strange civilization, realized that something was changing. She drew diagrams and watched the black smudge on her pocket computer grow until it ate up all the other cultural trends. What was the new factor the computer couldn't analyze? Why was it overshadowing the long-established cultural pattern of the Lemmits?
Mostly clean - just a little bit of dirt visible in the white area of the Bayley side. That cover also shows a distinct underlap. One creases in the spine, and corner wear on one side. Pages are off-white. Binding is flexible but intact.
