This is a generous sized lap or sofa quilt which will fit on the top of a double bed with no overhang and doesn't cover the pillows. The measurements are 67.50" x 58.50". The bed photos were taken on a childs size twin bed.

Quilts of this size are fantastic to curl up on the sofa with a good book. They are perfect for wheelchairs or scooter chairs. They aren't cumbersome like a full sized bed quilt. They are light in weight but warm.

The name of the quilt is Love is Slow on a Rocky Road derived from the fabric pattern and the two quilt block patterns used.

The fabric used for the backing, outer border and in the Hourglass pattern has red hearts in it which signifies Love. One of patterns used is Hourglass. Hourglass sand tends to run Slow. The second pattern used is Rocky Road to California which is self explanatory. Love is Slow on a Rocky Road.

The fabrics are all 100% cotton.

I have discovered a batting that I just love. It's a bamboo and cotton blend. 50% bamboo and 50% cotton. The bamboo content provides a softer product than all cotton. Bamboo is biodegradeable and is a natural eco friendly fiber without any chemical additives. Bamboo owns a unique anti bacterial ability. Bamboo has an unusual ability to breathe. When combined with natural cotton, bamboo softens the batting and makes for a comfortable quilt.

The binding is machine sewn on the front and hand finished on the back.
