This is a Creekside Quilt Designs original design from a traditional pattern, Toad in a Puddle. A lesser known name for the same pattern is Rambler.

The size is 52.00in x 44.00in which is a small toddler or crib size quilt. It's the perfect size for a little one to drag around and use in the car seat, at nap time or take along to grammas.

One decorator pillowcase is included with purchase.

A homecrafted stuffed "toad" is also included with purchase. Homemade by Crafty Annie's Corner (contact information found under Friends), this toad is green in color with typical "warts". He is very spiffy with a bow tie that matches the quilt. Although Kentucky Toad is very cute he is not intended to be used as a toy for small children. He has roly poly eyes which could be a choking hazard for little ones. He is meant to be a room decoration for the nursery.

The toad fabric was a gift from Crafty Annie's Corner while she was "rambling" around Kentucky. That is how the quilt got it's name Kentucky Toad Rambles in a Puddle.

The batting in this bright and fun childrens quilt is a Bamboo Blend. 50% bamboo and 50% cotton. Bamboo is biodegradable. Bamboo owns a unique anti bacterial ability. It has an unusual ability to breathe. Bamboo is completely washable and provides a softer product than all cotton. It is a natural eco friendly fiber without any chemical additives. When combined with natural cotton, bamboo softens the batting and creates a comfortable quilt.

The backing is a soft, warm cozy FLANNEL in a very bright yellow (a happy color) with touches of orange and green flowers and little white hearts in a stripe.

The binding is green and matches the green used in the block pattern. It was sewn by machine on the front and hand finished on the back.
