This sugar and creamer is by James Tufts.
Items are heavy, well made . A lot of detail went into this simple design. Still pretty and usable but some typical wear is evident to these antiques.
James Walker Tufts was born 11 Feb 1835, Charlestown, MA,and died 3 Feb 1902, Pinehurst, NC. Each one of his pieces was numbered He was an independent silversmith and his silverware factory was founded in 1875 and ended in 1915. Because of his limited production era, his items are highly collectible. These items are vintage and show wear. Preserve history and beautiful American Made design.
