This store was started in hopes of expanding farther to see if there is any interest in unusual seeds and will be adding plants as I go.

Item Description
Harvested in the high forests of Pennsylvania. Cold treated for you so you won't have too! Seeds can take a lot longer to sprout so you must be patient and a little research on these is recommended. But well worth the wait! Scatter seeds on top of soil and sprinkle a little soil on top of seeds to keep them in place. Wild leeks are collected in spring with "Leek Fests" throughout the Northern part of the USA and widely sought after. The health benefits are also quite impressive. I have sold many seeds to teachers in warmer climates as class room experiments by sprouting them in school refrigerators then transplanting some in shaded areas outside by where there is some moisture...but not completely soggy ground and some left in classrooms. They are NOT invasive as some believe them to be. Chefs and restaurants seek these in high demand and each year the popularity seems to be increasing. Leaves can also be used in seasoning for stews, omelets, with anything you desire an onion/leek taste to. I collect the leeks and dry the leaves to use in winter and the leek bulbs can also be frozen or dried although fresh is always better.
