What is Webstore? Webstore.com is simply a listing service (like your typical newspaper classifieds). Webstore: - Does not directly sell/ship any products,
- Does not collect any money for transactions,
- Does not provide escrow services.
Sellers on Webstore are solely responsible for their listings, and All transactions on Webstore are handled directly between the Buyer and the Seller. Although we do our best to immediately suspend any accounts suspected of fraud, and strive to maintain a high level of buyer safety, it is impossible to completely rid any listing service where Seller's are responsible for their own online listings of fraud. To help prevent online fraud, please: - Check a seller's ratings-
Buyers are encouraged to rate their transactions with sellers, and often leave comments about the sale. Read through the ratings and comments left by previous buyers. - Contact the Seller before sending money-
It is always recommended to establish contact with the seller through the Webstore Message Board before sending money. - Read our page titled Avoiding Scams.
- Report any suspected fraudulent activity immediately to Webstore support staff.
Seller Responsibilities Seller's on Webstore assume all responsibility for the content of their listings and the transaction.
Seller's are responsible for: - Marking items paid when funds are received
- Shipping Products and providing tracking information to buyers
- Issuing Refunds and/or price adjustments
- Canceling Transactions if needed
- Handling any and all customer service resulting from a sale
All issues concerning Webstore transactions should be handled directly between the buyer and seller. To assist with Buyer/Seller relations during transactions Webstore provides the following tools: The Webstore Message Board (WMB) The Webstore Message Board (WMB) is the preferred method of contact so that all communications are documented incase dispute resolution should ever be required. (Instructions for using the WMB are included below.) If a buyer/seller is not responding to messages in the WMB, you may try using email or their phone number. If a buyer/seller has an incorrect phone number listed with Webstore, please notify support immediately. Buyer and Seller Rating/Feedback System Buyer's and Seller's can rate eachother on a scale of 1-5 stars using the Webstore Reputation Rating System. Webstore automatically adjusts buyer and seller limits (or promotes/suspends accounts) based on ratings that members receive. These ratings and associated comments are also publicly available so that members can make informed decisions when making purchases. For more information on our rating/feedback system, please click here. Fraud Assistance through Webstore Support If fraud has been committed by either buyer or seller, and a resolution cannot be reached directly between buyer and seller 7 days after the transaction date, or if the buyer/seller is non-responsive, please click here for more information. Since Webstore does not collect money, we will not be able to issue refunds, but we may be able to: - Provide additional contact information for the other party
- Provide information on what to do, and agencies to contact in case of internet fraud
- Work with authorities to assist in your case
