This is one of my better war helmets of my own private Japanese helmet collections that has never been listed here before.
Very exceptional nice Original large shell. Believe me I collect lots of these helmets. No imperfections, what so ever. i.e. not one of those restored converted shells with GI-liner holes, a very collectible original condition shell.
Paint is original for that period, white yellowish. I was going to repaint but decided to leave it alone.
Liner is early Nakata reproduction good leather production stock. Take a look at my pictures. I customed it for my own enjoyment and now for your WWII Pacific display hobby room.
Front pad has a beautiful 1941 kanji inkstamp all pads are filled with cotton pillows, large kanji size punch just like the original liner.
Chinstrapsof original cloth material. Steel Pins are original to helmet. It has good quality steel rings.
Priced reasonably to look for an individual Japanese helmet lover rather than bargain hunters.
here are a lot of attention to details that make it look very much like the real thing.
