WW2 US NAVY , NAMED GOOD CONDUCT, AMERICAN THEATER, WW2 VICTORY ON ORIGINAL BAR MOUNTING
This auction listing is for one item: three WW2 medals, one a named NAVY good conduct medal to: KENNETH GLEN HALL; 1943
This excellent conditioned WW2 medal bar, as worn by the veteran includes his Good Conduct Medal, and two additional medals.
Navy
and Coast Guard regulations allow the wearing of either one bar, or all of a
recipients medals. It was not uncommon for a short bar to be worn. Thus
Mr. Hall may have had additional medals awarded, or this may have been
his entire allocation. I would assume he qualified for the American Defense medal as he would have enlisted in 1939-40. I have no additional information on his career,
this is a great research lot.
NOTE:
There is a small
amount of oxidation to the rear of the Good Conduct and Victory medals.
I have not attempted to clean these.
