Introduction by General Ulanoff
Description
President Roosevelt called December 7, 1941, âA date which will live in infamyâ. On that Sunday morning at 7:55 the Japanese began an air attack that devastated the Pacific fleet and took the lives of 2,343 servicemen. This film is a heavily partisaned look at the dayâs events. Since few cameras were actually present during the surprise attack, director and Lt. Cmdr. John Ford skillfully blended the real action with studio shots, creating a heightened realism
