This little country store is a mix of soup to nuts, almost literally. It is my flea market booth, brought to the web. I appreciate your visit.

Item Description
The condition of the outside of this book almost made me chunk it but, being the lover of old items that I am, I decided I'd better give this a closer look and, I am glad that I did. The art between the pages is just wonderful. I have to believe there is someone out there that would have invaluable use for the western/Native-American depictions. I'm not sure what might have happened to this book but, by the looks of it someone stored it in a terribly damp place. To begin with, this was an old library book but, I can see no harm that came to it from that. The hard cover is warped and mildewed inside and so are a very few of the inner pages. But, the art, for the most part, remains in good condition and could easily be put to use. The artist named here is Lee Ames and the book was published in Garden City New York 1955. Some of the chapters are, Daniel Boone, Indian Fighter: Over The Great Divide: Remember The Alamo: and Buffalo Hunters, Cowboys and Railroads. I gave you a picture of both the exterior of the book and a page of the artwork. All the art is done in the same manner of the page I've given you. Add 4.50 shipping US.
