They are made out of 100% cotton thread which means they should be hand washed like other delicates so they won't shrink or curl. The best care is woolite soak, rinse, wrap in a towel to draw off water, then tack to a cork board or piece of cardboard stretched with push pins or straight pins until dry. Of course, if you want a quicker dry with less work, use a low to med setting on an iron and iron from center outward all the way around and lay flat to finish drying.
