This unique video set describes in great detail seven of the key war planes of World War II. Starting with the B-17 Flying Fortress pounding the Reich by day, with escorting P-47 Thunderbolts and P-51 Mustangs sweeping the Luftwaffe from their path. Onto the B-24 Liberators pulverizing the Reich’s crucial oil fields. Witness the P-40 Warhawk and P-38 Lightning in early, bitter battles. Finally, the mighty B-29 Super Fortress hammering Japan to it’s knees before the final, awful blow of the first atomic bombardment.
