Item Description
This is a vintage set of two Jasperware Plates made by Wedgwood in England to commemorate the Bicentennial of American Independence. The plates measure 4 1/4 inches in diameter and have 13 white stars around the rims of the blue Jasperware plates. The first plate portrays the seal of New Jersey, which was one of the original Thirteen States who supported the Declaration of Independence. The second plate has a profile of J. Witherspoon, a representative from the Commonwealth of New Jersey, who signed it.
The plates are in excellent condition with no apparent signs of wear. The original Wedgwood box a bit with age with the outside of the box having a small rip in the corner. The interior of the box is in good condition with just a small spot in the upper right of the lid. This is to be expected because this set was made prior to the Bicentennial in 1976. Only one edition was made of each state set and production ceased when the next state edition was made. This is a great piece of history for any collector.

All merchandise purchased from Shaun's Attic may be returned by mail within 30 days of receiving it, unless otherwise indicated at the time of on-line purchase.
If you are unsatisfied with a product for any reason, we will accept your timely return of unworn and unwashed merchandise for a full refund of the original purchase price.
Returned merchandise must be in the packaging in which it was received accompanied by the original invoice in order to process a full refund.
The item must be in the same condition as when it was received. Used merchandise cannot be returned. Products which have been modified by another 3rd party jeweler will not be accepted for refunds.
When Shaun's Attic receives any returned merchandise, it will be fully inspected to insure the item has not been altered, damaged, worn, cleaned or polished in any way.
Items returned may be subject to a reduced refund if not in its original packaging and /or in salable condition.
