This Vintage sky blue striped Mexican Blanket was purchased in Monterrey area of Mexico 30 years ago. It has been stored but never used or exposed to pets, smoke or the elements. Sky Blue and navy and
white repeating stripes, interspersed with a rainbow of other vibrant
colors in greens, reds, browns. This natural fiber blanket is extra
large, measuring 58"+ wide and 92" long including fringe.
Great
for blanket, rug, throw, yoga mat, beach blanket, exercise mat,
bedspread. Snuggle cover for a couch or recliner. Terrific car blanket
to use in winter travel or for roadside respites to enjoy a picnic and
scenic vistas in nicer weather.
Take it as a play pad when baby goes visiting or make it a dynamic and iconic seat cover for that hot rod or vintage car.
As
a wall hanging or tapestry mounted on a high wall, stairwell or teen
bedroom, these vivid colors attract and engage the eye. Use as Room

This blanket is from an earlier time when these textiles
were handmade in the family home on wooden looms and in the natural
fibers of cotton and wool in villages in Eastern Mexico. (Today
"Mexican blankets" can be made entirely of synthetic material in
factories in India!)
