Vintage Metal Vent Pipe Flue Cover Fall Trees Scene

This is a vintage metal, vent pipe cover or blanking plate with a picture of fall trees. This type of cover was used in older homes that had woodburning stoves or space heaters that were removed only to leave a large round hole in the wall from the vent pipe.

The cover looks almost like paper plates but is made of metal and had wire loops in the back to fit into the hole and leave a pleasing scene on the wall. This cover measures about 8” in diameter and is a warm off white color. The center has a fall scene by a lake. The cover does have some wear but that gives it a nice vintage look.
