For your consideration, single decorative item:
Portugal porcelain 9.5" handpainted decorative plate
Hand painted on the outside of the glaze, pink flowers are large and bright, with multi green in the leaves
GOLD -1/2" (what looks like 24carat gold) band painted around the entire edge of the plate
Paint brush marks (in 3s) to give the band dimension are marked every 2 1/2 "
gold dots are painted all over the front of the plate-hundreds of them
Hand painted spots are painted to combine the gold band and the plate painting
Gold signature is on the right lower, however, I am unaware as to the artist
Stamped and signed back: MAIA PURCE PORTUGAL and then it is written in gold, "Porcelana Fruitada..." and the rest of the signature is unknown to me. I researched but to no avail.
Plate appears to be decorative only, it has no apparent chips, craze, flea bites, etc.
Gold gilding is utilized and is a huge part of this item.
