This is a boxed set of Dolly Dears paper dolls © 1967 by Western Publishing Company. There are 4 dolls with this set (2 are duplicates). There is only one box which is in fair condition (it has lots of wear and one corner is torn). All of the clothes have been cut out. There are 2 sets of dolls and 2 sets on clothing. There are 90 outfits that are doubles (45 of each kind) and 10 hats (8 are doubles - 4 of each kind and 2 hats that are singles). There are 7 single outfits, 1 bow and 4 sets of shoes (2 of each set). The clothing is pretty good, with some bends, and some outfits that are cut out badly, most are cut out great! The paper dolls are made of heavy cardboard with a plastic layer over the dolls on which to attach clothing, as there are no tabs on the outfits. The box reads: Dolly Dears 2 Magic Dolls, clothes stay on without tabs! The dolls are:
Carolyn (2 dolls, one in fair shape with the plastic layer peeling in spots, the other doll is in poor shape with paper missing on the chest and hair, 1/2 of the plastic layer is gone. Both doll have neck bends).
Cathy (2 dolls, one doll is in good shape with some tape residue on the front, and she has a neck bend, the other doll also has tape residue and a neck bend - some of the plastic layer is coming up on the edges).
