Item Description
This is a 10 piece Barbed Wire Collection with pieces Patent dated
1868 KELLEYS DIAMOND,
1876 GLIDDEN OVAL TWIST,
1878 SCuTTS ARROWPLATE,
1879 CRANDEL "RIC-RAC,
1881 BUCKTHORN,
1881 J. BRINKERHOFF,
1882 DODGE & WASHBURN,
1882 ELWOOD SPREAD,
1884 SUNDERLIN KINK,
and 1884 DECKERS SPREAD.
These are mounted on wooden boards that measure 19" X 3" with the name of each piece of wire. The wires each measure approx. 19"with the exception of 1 piece not mounted which is the "Deckers Spread". The wires each measure approx. 19".
These could be remounted on cedar or your choice of wooden boards and the names reprinted and you would have a very nice and valuable collection to display.
The condition of the wire is good considering the age which shows some weathering, wear, etc.
