Item Description
You are bidding on a Vintage, New In Box (Never used), Springfield Instrument Indoor-Outdoor Thermometer.
I found this while cleaning up a relative’s estate. The box is marked on the end Instrument #1102 Springfield Instrument Co., Inc. Hackensack, N.J. 07602 and the box does show wear. The thermometer has the following marking: Made in U.S.A. 312 1103
This is a “Hard Wired†Liquid unit meaning that there is a braded wire with a sensor at the end of it that must be routed to the outside in order for the thermometer to register the outside temperature. The hardware is still in the plastic bag and the instruction sheet is included
The thermometer casing measures approximately 9 Inches Tall x 2 Inches Wide x 5/8 of an Inch Thick. The actual thermometer gauge is approximately 6 Inches. The temperature scale is common to both vials and is marked off in Degrees Fahrenheit and ranges from –40 Degrees F to +120 Degrees F The Indoor vial has Blue Liquid and the Outdoor vial has Red Liquid The braded wire is approximately 4 1/2 Feet in length as measured from the thermometer case to the sensor end.

USPS FLAT RATE:
For smaller items I usually ship via USPS Flat Rate. When I ship this way I usually add a reasonable handling charge to the flat rate charge which covers packaging material (tape, packing, shipping labels, the printing supplies required to print shipping labels etc.)
USPS 1st CLASS:
If I ship an item USPS 1st Class I will weigh the item and add an ounce or two to be on the safe side and a reasonable handling charge which covers packaging material.
UPS or FEDEX:
In the case of larger items I will use this method and calculate the S+H charge based on a Flat Rate To All Buyers based on the item being shipped to California which includes any charges for packaging material.
COMBINED SHIPPING:
In the event you purchase more than one of my listings I am willing to "try and combine" the S+H charges - I only ask that you do not make payment until you receive an adjusted invoice which will reflect the new S+H charge for the combined items based on the new packaging size, weight and carrier.
FREE SHIPPING:
