Item Description

A canceled stamp issued by the Soviet Union in 1985 in celebration of the end of WWII. The stamp is canceled but this is done for the benefit of collectors. I got this while on vacation in Russia in 2002. Not only for collectors, a block of stamps looks great in a frame for people interested in the theme of the stamp, or for use by teachers/educators as a visual aid in the classroom. I've also seen some interesting pieces of jewelry that used stamps in plastic or lacquered. Items may simultaneously be listed on eBay and, in the event of being sold there, may be deleted from webstore without prior notice. For buyers NOT using PayPal: Payment made via check - item held until check clears. Payment made via money order - item shipped within two days of receipt.
