Up for bids is the full Team
U.S.A. set published by Esso (Imperial Oil) of Canada for the 1998 Winter
Olympics in Nagano.
The set includes Chris Chelios, Kevin Hatcher, Derian
Hatcher, Mike Richter, John Vanbiesbrouck, Brian Leetch, Brett Hull, Jeremy
Roenick, Keith Tkachuk, Mike Modano, John LeClair and Doug Weight.
Each card is 4-5/8 inches by 6-3/4 inches. On the
front of each card is an action shot of the player and his (facsimile)
autograph. On the reverse is a player headshot, 1996-97 scoring statistics, a
brief scouting report by Ron MacLean of Hockey Night in Canada and a story of
four to five paragraphs about the player.
The cards are all punched with two holes in the left
side as they were part of an Olympic binder produced by Imperial Oil.
These cards are not in their original plastic, but
they are new and uncirculated.
