THIS STUNNING COMPOTE WITH RETICULATED UPPER BODY IS MARKED W & C SILVERPLATE, BUT IT IS SO LIGHT THAT LOOKS AND FEELS LIKE STERLING. THE SIZE: 2 1/2 INCH TALL, 4 1/2 INCH LONG. THE CONDITION: EXCELLENT, NO SILVER LOSS, A FEW DOTS ON THE BOTTOM, NO PITTING, NO DENTS (THE LOWER BOTTOM RIM IS NOT PERFECTLY ROUND, HARD TO NOTICE WHEN STANDS). THE BOWL IS BEAUTIFUL, VERY WELL DONE. SIMPLY STUNNING.
THE MATCHING SET OF 3 ADDITIONAL NUT DISHES OR BON BON BOWLS ARE MARKED VELDON SILVER PLATE ON THE BACK. THE CONDITION: VERY GOOD, SOME DISCOLORATION, GOLDEN COLOR, DARK SPOTS ON THE BOTTOM.
