This is Belle of the West - Artistic Series XIII, made by Raphael Tuck, the famous English printing firm, copyright 1894. This is an original paper doll set, not a reproduction! This set has one doll (with added head - not original) and 4 dresses.
The paper doll is 9" tall (with added head). She is marked Artistic Series XIII. She has bends on one foot, both arms and one sleeve. I added her head from a scan of a duplicate doll and printed it off on cardstock and I attached a longer neck also of cardstock. The doll has nice coloring, is missing her stand.
The white dress with red trim (marked Artistic Series XIIIa), is in great shape, has bends to one foot, one hand and one sleeve, coloring is good, is missing one tab.
The pink dress (marked artistic Series XIIIc) has good color, has bends at both sides of her collar, at one sleeve and at one foot, is missing one foot and both tabs.
The green dress (Marked Artistic Series XIIIb) has good color, has bends at one hand and across skirt, neck has been shortened and is missing both tabs.
The purple dress (marked Artistic Series XIIId) has good color, has bends to neck and neckline bow, is missing both tabs.
This is a nice set of paper dolls that is over 100 years old! The doll is 9" tall (with added head). The clothes are around 8" tall each. PayPal only.
