Item Description
For the Victorians photography was a
new and exciting art. The family album was the main attraction in the
drawing room, admired by every visitor. Each page was often decorated
with flora, fauna and popular themes of the day surrounding an oval
cut-out where the sepia photographs would be inserted.
Eleven thick pages hold 35 photos of
varying sizes. Each page is decorated with old Victorian-style flowers,
doves, hearts, butterflies, kittens, etc., and each page is different.
Special place under each photo to write name or title of photo.
