Synopsis
Jack Hammond is a high-powered lawyer until he has an affair with a client's girlfriend, who subsequently is found dead. Jack is fired, and is forced to find a job serving as a court-appointed lawyer. Two years later, Jack's friend Doug Townsend dies of an apparent overdose, but the circumstances look fairly suspicious to Jack. Doug was obsessed with an opera singer, and as Jack begins to investigate what happened to Doug, he begins to share Doug's feelings toward the beautiful Michele. Will Jack's involvement with yet another dangerous woman cause history to repeat itself? Or will the consequences prove even more deadly this time?
