Up for bids is a 1960-61 Hunter Guide advertising
catolgue from Sydney I. Robinson Sports Goods in Winnipeg Manitoba, the city's
largest store of its kind in those days. Sidney I. Robinson, or SIR as it was
known, was the Cabela's of its day.
The comprehensive price guide is 132 pages and covers
everything from weapons to lure-making ingredients. The catalogue is especially
well-illustrated with artwork featured in almost every advertisement. Also
included is a brochure and return envelope for mail orders.
The book is 8.25x10.75 and is in near-mint condition.
There are no rips, tears, writing, dogears, loose pages or moisture damage. The
cover is glossy, the inside pages are newsprint.
Hunters with any degree of nostalgia will cherish
this for its bygone products AND prices.
