Item Description

This is a cute little glass snowman candy container. These are perfect for old fashioned Christmas candy - better yet - my grandmother always put cleartoys candy in them! (Memories...) This is just in time to get ready for Christmas decorations and this is the perfect addition! The lid is a removable top hat. The bottom is marked Canada and also has a number 7 on the bottom. He has a scarf and buttons and his hat has a buckle. He stands 7 3/4" to the top of the top hat and 5 3/4" to the top of candy jar itself which has a 3 1/2" opening. This candy container does come with the plastic insert on the inside of the lid.

It was most likely made in the 1940's or 1950's or 1960's. I know they were making by the 1960's because Grandma had a few of them when I was growing up in the 1960's. I don't see any damage anywhere on this snowman.
