Item Description

This Raku Pottery Cross was Handmade and Signedby American artist Jeremy Diller . The cross has a magnet on the back along with a wire loop for hanging. It measures 2 5/8" x 1 3/4" . The cross is decorated with copper wire and small crystal and stone chips. Raku pieces are formed from raw clay, painted by hand & fired in an outdoor kiln to 2000 degrees. Removed red hot, the pieces are placed in a pit of mesquite shavings & covered to smother the ignited fire. This process creates brilliant flashes of colors ranging from purple,red,blue & copper, along with the metallic luster of the raku glaze. This creates a unique array of colors, making each Raku piece one-of-a kind. This piece is new in the box.
