Item Description
This is a nice first day cover of the SC 930 stamp with a cachet of Roosevelt's family estate in Hyde Park, NY and below that is the Phoenix-Connecticut Group Fire Insurance Companies of Hartford, Connecticut Ad. The cover is postmarked in Hyde Park NY on July 26, 1945 and addressed to Mr. W. Earle Fulton, The Birdseye Agency, Inc., at 272 Main Street in Derby, CT. A nice cover. The cover has toning and wrinkles from age and handling and some small stains that look like the cover might have had tape on it. Please see the photos below.
