Item Description

THESE THREE HAVE BEEN KEPT IN MINT CONDITION. THEY ARE ALL DELICATE AND BEAUTIFUL. THE EGG IS A REAL ONE WITH A HOLE IN THE BOTTOM. IT IS HANDPAINTED WITH A PAGODA ON ONE SIDE AND THE SIGNATURE OF THE ARTIST ON THE OTHER. THE BOWL IS STAMPED SATSUMA AND IS COVERED IN BEAUTIFUL PEACOCKS IN DEEP RED AND GOLD. THE SAKI CONTAINER MATCHES THE BOWL. THE PIECE WAS DONE DURING THE MEIJIN PERIOD AND IS IN MINT CONDITION IT HAS BEEN SITTING IN MY SHOWCASE AT MY SHOP FOR THE PAST 4 YEARS. THERE IS NOT ONE CHIP NOR CRACK AND THE REAL EGG HAS NOT ONE BIT OF FLAKING. IT WAS PURCHASED AT AN ESTATE SALE IN GEORGIA, IT HAD BEEN KEPT TOGETHER AND WAS IN A CHINA CLOSET FOR THEY SAID MORE THAN 30 YEARS.
