This is Darling Edith (clothes only - no original doll) made by Raphael Tuck, the famous English printing firm, copyright 1894. This is an original paper doll set, not a reproduction! This set has 4 outfits (1 is a duplicate) & 1 hat and NO ORIGINAL DOLL (Included is a scan of a duplicate doll printed on cardstock and cut out, ready to display).
BONUS: The scanned doll is printed out actual size on cardstock and cut out, ready to frame or display with the original clothes.
The first dress is green with yellow sleeves & collar, marked Artistic Series 22c (the front of the dress is nice, with bends at the collar & hem)
The second dress is red with green trim (there is 2 dresses) marked Artistic Series 22b (the front of the dress is nice, but has bends at the shoulders and one corner torn off, fingers are missing on one glove).
The third dress is blue and comes with a hat, marked Artistic Series 22a (the dress is in good shape with bends at both shoulders and at the lower hem, fingers are missing on one glove).
The hat has old tape on the back and is torn on both sides where the tape is.
This is a nice set of paper dolls that is over 100 years old! The clothes are around 7 1/2" tall each. PayPal only. Payment must be received within 7 days of end of auction.
