Item Description

Beautiful blue and white transfer jug from Doulton Burslem. This perfect jug depicts a scene from "Ye Old Belle" tavern of a young woman serving 2 men. There is also a picture of an old bell hanging and a fountain. The inside rim of the jug states "Ye Old Belle". Bears the Doulton Burslem backstamp used from 1891 - 1902, the Jacobean mark and "d837" The jug stands 6 Â½", bears 3 small chips along the bottom rim (see picture) otherwise in wonderful condition, no hairlines.
