This first edition cookbook is from 1984 and has recipes by the New Orleans Saints organization and their wives. From Coach Bum Phillips' Italian Cream Cake to Quarterback Kenny Stabler's favorite gumbo, you'll find some lovely and delicious recipes in this book. Practically all of the players on the 1984 team are in this book including Heiman Trophy winners Earl Campbell and George Rogers, Pro Football Hall of Famer Rickey Jackson, Kicker Morten Andersen, Hoby Brenner, Dave Wilson, Brad Edelman, Kenny Bordelon, Glen Redd, Stan Brock, Tyrone Young, Kenny Duckett, Eugene Goodlow, Hokie Gajan, Dave Waymer, Jeff Groth, Steve Korte, Jim Kovach, Reggie Lewis, Guido Merkins, Derland Moore, John Tice, Richard Todd, Frank Warren, Frank Wattelet, Terry Hoage Tyrone Anthony, Brian Hansen, Joel Hilgenberg and many many more players. This book also includes recipes from owner John Mecom and defensive coordinator Wade Phillips. There are also pictures of practically all of the players with their wives and families back in the 80s. It is amazing to see how our wardrobe has changed since 1984.
