RARE 19th Century Tibetian Buddhist Bronze Oil Lamp

Ganesh & Snakes

This is an authentic antique Tibetan oil lamp decorated with the Lord Ganesh and multi-headed snake. Oil lamps like this were used in Tibet by Buddhist monks during religious ceremonies and festivals. It is not a cheap Chinese made copy normally sold to tourist. I was fortunate enought to travel by train from Beijing to Lhasa back in 2007 where I purchased this beautiful work of art. This magnificent piece is a must have for any serious collector or devout buddhist practitioner. It will look splendid in your home office or temple. The detail and craftwork on this unique masterpiece is remarkable. If you find yourself attracted to it, I highly recommend that you buy it now.
