You can take advantage of many of the capabilities of a printer/copier/scanner/fax machine with PowerPrint from Infowave. The basic PowerPrint package comes with a serial-to-parallel cable that connects the Mac printer port or modem port to the parallel port on the printer. The included software let's you print to almost every popular parallel printer and most all-in-one devices.
This is a legacy product that was previously owned and well cared for. For Mac products only that have a serial port. It may be possible to use a serial-to-USB adapter with this, but that is unknown. This product originally sold for about $100 plus s/h. If you have one of the printers supported, and a system that will accomodate the connection, this packaged bundle is for you. Includes serial-to-parallel adapter cable, installation CD and manuals. WYSIWYG.
