Porcelain Footed Victorian Trinket Box w/ Portrait (1051-C)

This little dresser dish or keepsake box is oval shaped on 4 raised feet, each measuring 5/8" high. The little keepsake dish is sky blue or baby blue with gold trim and encircled on the top of the lid in a gold frame is a portrait painting or transferware of a man and woman in colonial garb sitting by a tree. (I'm not sure how to tell if it's painted or transferred. Either way, I'm pretty sure it's old.) Quite a romantic scene - they are holding hands. Her dress is pink and his outfit is a white shirt, rust vest and blue pants. The gold hinges and clasp all look to be in very good condition. There are no chips or cracks noted. This is a very unique and pretty little vintage box.
