OOOThis coin is from the Philippine Islands, South of Japan and East of Viet Nam. This is a circulated 10 Sentimos face value coin minted in 1979, and is in as-is uncleaned condition. This is a nice circulated coin, which shows Francisco Baltasar's likeness on the front.
OOOFrancisco Baltasar (Apr 2, 1788 – Feb 20, 1862), known much more widely through his nom-de-plume Francisco Balagtas, was a prominent Filipino poet, and is widely considered as the Tagalog equivalent of William Shakespeare for his impact on Filipino literature. The famous epic, "Florante at Laura", is regarded as his defining work.

OO 1) I never ship coins in holders. Holders are only used by most dealers for more expensive items. Remember I'm selling to a market of beginner collectors. I do not grade coins, but will describe in plain language that beginners can understand, the condition of the coin. I will also provide good scans of the coins that will show any flaws that are present. I always use a sharpen filter for my scans, because this will more clearly show detail, including all wear & flaws.
