Up for bids is a vintage figure skating program
from the Ice Club of Greater Winnipeg (Manitoba) 1947 show, Out of This
World.
The program is 6.75x10 inches, 40 pages and is in
excellent condition. Great cover art.
Included in the program is the club's executive,
photos of the performers and a programme of events.
Those pictured include Carnival Queen Joan Dummert,
director Rupert Whitehead, skatings professionals Marcia and Ann Drewry and
Shirley Craven, performers Joan Graham and Jay Busby, Mary Diane Trimble,
Shirley Winter, Clair Babcock, Winona and Opal Edwards, Evelyn Guilbault,
Rosemary Henderson and Maxine Doldin, Julie O'Neill, Patricia Thomas and
others.
The program also contains many vintage
advertisements.
