Oil Painting Long Island Dune Beach Scene with Girl and Boy
I purchased this oil painting about 10 years ago or longer.
It is 22 x 18 inches. Oil or acrylic on board.
Unsigned. Abstract Art.

It is done very well.
This came out of a basement, next door to Jackson Pollacks house, on Long Island NY.
This belonged to an old woman who lived next door to Jackson Pollack many years ago. She had this and other paintings in her basement. She use to give painting parties, and artist would come over, paint and socialize. They would sometimes leave their art work and give it to her. This is one of these she kept.
I do not know who did this, as it is unsigned. I did show this to a good friend of mine, John Tartaglione, a famous Marvel artist, who also did abstracts, and he said it was done extremely well, and was the work of a very good artist.
I sent photos to sothebys and skinners. They said it is very nice & well executed , but they do not know who did it.
This was in a Hamptons art gallery for $2000 about 5 years ago.
