OLYMPIC SCHUMANN ARZBERG RARE PLATE.
OLYMPICS PORCELAIN SMALL PLATE.
Shows Olympics characteristic logo (the five rings) and "Olympische Spiele 1896" at left top, and "Munchen 1972" at right mid plate -- all in goldtone lettering. In addition to the lettering is an old-fashioned happy lady in a fashionable, fur trimmed suit, hat, muff and ice skates, on ice.
Squarish Schumann Arzberg small plate, (4.5 inches diameter) with characteristic Bavaria, Germany stamp on the underside, as well as SCHUMANN ARZBERG name and characteristic seal. Also number 33 is stamped. The configuration of the underside mark leads one to believe the piece was made between 1960 and 1970.
