Nicholas Nickelby and his family enjoy a privileged life. That is, until, the family patriarch dies and the family is left destitute. The classic story by legendary author Charles Dickens is reborn in this beautifully animated adventure. With nothing left to lose, the Nickelbys travel to London to seek help from their uncle, but he has his own plans for them. He sends Nicholas to a boarding school run by a cruel and abusive man, Wackford Squeers, and uses Nicholas's beautiful sister to further his own investments. Along with Smike, Nicholas's friend from the school, they break out and set off on an adventure to save Nicholas's family from their black-hearted uncle, facing all manner of adversity as well as meeting a vast array of interesting characters. Children of all ages will enjoy this version of a true classic!
