Item Description
This is a Missouri 150 Year Sesquicentennial coin. Marked HRD 1971 and says Gateway to the West, Pictures of a Bi-plane, Covered Wagon, Riverboat and what I think is a Space Shuttle one one side, Nice printing on the other side too.
We do not know the type of metal on this.
I used my postal scale to weight this and it shows 24 gr or .8 oz.
PLEASE READ:
This was purchased at an auction some years back and it came with a certificate. The Certificate says .999 Fine Silver 1821-1971 Sesquicentennial Commemorative Medallion. On the Certificate is the Serial # and says it has been registered with the State of Mo Committee. We cannot certify that as there is not a serial # on the coin itself. It is not magnetic and is not marked silver, The coin is gold colored not silver color? At first we thought it was maybe brass. You will get the certificate as shown with the coin as that is the way we got it. We do not warrant the silver content of this as we have no way to 'test it' Maybe it it silver underneath the color or maybe it is not. We are listing this telling and showing all we know and will leave it up to the bidder to decide and maybe know more about this than us! View the pic's for more detail. Email any questions! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
