This brand new submariner divers watch is the latest automatic (self winding) 21 jewel military divers watch from the Military Watch Company (MWC). This model has is fitted with the James Bond Grey/Black military webbing strap as worn in the film Dr No. I discovered after hearing from many other buyers that the watch closely resembles the watch used by 007 in the film although after speaking to MWC it is clear that the resemblance is purely coincidental
- see the picture attached of the actual Bond watch - having said that when the strap and the watch are combined it makes a nice package. I have found these watches incredibly popular MWC are producing these watches for a contract in South America and in terms of quality they are up to the usual high standards expected from MWC but without doubt these represent excellent value considering that most MWC automatic divers watches are priced at £299+ (€415 / $495) and the CWC equivelants are £399 (€559 / US$650.
This watch is slightly larger than the standard MWC divers watch at 46mm including the crown and 43mm excluding the crown although it uses the the same 20mm NATO strap as other MWC and CWC military divers watches.
This watch is brand new and uses a high performance 21 jewel automatic movement for first rate accuracy.
