1996-98 Pre-columbian - OLMECA Â Series Â MEXICO 1996 El LUCHADOR (The Wrestler)Â LEY .999 SILVER BU (not a proof)1 ONZA PLATA PURA. This outstanding stone sculpture was found in the state of Veracruz at Santa Maria Uxpanapa. This represents a sitting man with his arms in a dynamic attitude, as if playing some sort of sport or fighting. This sculpture is 66 cm high This is a a two year type and is presented in Â 1 Oz in 1996 and Â lower mintages again in 1998. This is a one ounce Uncirculated (not a proof) coin. Minted by the Casa de Moneda de MÃ©xico, the national mint of Mexico and the oldest mint in the Americas, established in 1535. Collectors are putting these away as they are becoming more difficult to find! . The 1996 Mintage is 4,500! Krause # 597. Â Comes in a plastic air-tight.There may be some imperfections on the coin.
