This group gave it a main importance. The crocodile is related with the earth and the water, and stands among other animals due to its amphibian nature. In this "Palma," the Totonac artist could make good use of the space he had to extend the twisted tail in the top of the "Palma." This is a a one year type and is presented in  1 Oz in 1993. This is a one ounce Uncirculated (not a proof) coin. Minted by the Casa de Moneda de México, the national mint of Mexico and the oldest mint in the Americas, established in 1535. Collectors are putting these away as they are becoming more difficult to find! . The 1993 Mintage is only 4,600!
